Payroll Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer with a strong background in payroll processing and compensation and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing the payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement, and overseeing employee compensation and benefits programs. This role requires excellent analytical skills and a thorough understanding of payroll systems and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate calculation and timely distribution of wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
  • Administer and manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, employee timesheets, and leave balances.
  • Handle payroll adjustments for promotions, salary changes, deductions (e.g., taxes, benefits), and other payroll-related matters.
  • Collaborate with HR on compensation structures and benefits enrollment.
  • Respond to employee inquiries about payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports for management review, including tax filings and benefits contributions.
  • Ensure payroll tax reporting and compliance with relevant labor and tax laws.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end payroll reconciliation and reporting, including annual tax filings.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and compensation/benefits laws to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to work onsite in Mariveles, Bataan
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
