Specific Areas of Accountability
:
-
Implement the end-to-end product implementation process aligned with the company’s overall vision and goals.

Serve as a primary point of contact during the deployment phase.
-
Engage in the development of deployment process of new and existing products
-
Provide inputs and collaborate with the Customer Experience Team on the customer journey and user experience.
-
Keep abreast of Insurance Commission regulatory standards pertaining to the products, and verify that such products can meet regulatory standards.
-
Ensure quality assurance process for deployment and ultimately meet client requirements.
-
Collaborate with various teams across the organization including Actuarial, Operations, Transformation and Technology, Risk Management and other committees to ensure seamless execution of product strategies.

Monitor and analyze product performance and program execution by periodic monitoring of profitability and viability of insurance plans and riders and adjusts as necessary.

Recommend process alignment and compliance with company and regulator’s rules on product development and management.

Provide feedback to the Product Strategy Team on product designs as a result of challenges encountered during deployment stage.

Accountable for the initial product setup in the system, if applicable.

Responsible for the cascade to internal stakeholders from product design, pricing, implementation process and overall user experience of the new or revised product, upon approval from Insurance Commission.

Conducts benchmarking and product comparison activities to analyze product competitiveness for existing products and shall be conducted after product launched.

Define scope and requirements, assess technical feasibility, user needs, and bridge business goals to ensure products and features are scalable.

Collaborate with various teams across the organization including Actuarial, Operations, Sales and other committees to ensure that all the variables are captured and properly modeled.

Identify best practices and tools for product implementation and deployment process.

Implement policies that align with Maxi Life’s goals, objectives and strategies
-
Perform any other tasks that may be directed to do.
Desired Skills and Competencies

In-depth knowledge & experience in marketing management, product management, project management and/or quality management from a life insurance company
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous leadership or management experience is an advantage.

Good interpersonal skills – able to openly discuss ideas and concerns to peers and managers
-
Can easily adapt and work in a fast paced culture and environment

Delivers outputs on schedule and manages to work well under pressure

Able to collaborate effectively with customers and/or colleagues outside own team structure

UX/UI experience is an advantage

Experience design

Capable of using Design thinking principles and tools

Capable of Prototyping and Usability testing
Professional Qualification:
-
Bachelor’s degree holder in BS Mathematics, Statistics and other relevant courses
-
At least 5 years’ experience in life insurance or similar experience with key focus on product management and project management
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools
-
Data analytics skills are welcome as well as previous leadership experience
