Job Overview: The District Sales Manager (DSM) will oversee the sales operations within a defined district, ensuring the company’s sales goals and objectives are met. The DSM will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and building strong relationships with key clients and partners. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day sales activities Key Responsibilities: - Team Leadership & Management: - Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives. - Set sales targets and provide regular performance feedback. - Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on results, accountability, and customer satisfaction. - Sales Strategy & Execution: - Develop and implement district sales strategies in alignment with the company’s broader objectives. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly. - Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely closing of deals. - Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. - Resolve customer issues and act as a point of escalation for sales-related concerns. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting: - Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. - Prepare regular sales reports and present them to senior management. - Adjust strategies and actions to meet or exceed sales targets. - Budgeting & Financial Management: - Manage the district's sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. - Collaborate with the finance team to ensure profitability and cost management within the district. - Collaboration & Communication: - Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales initiatives. - Facilitate clear communication between the sales team and upper management.
