***eligibility guidelines apply*** JOB SUMMARY The Content Manager’s main responsibilities are to curate RFP content in the content management system, provide technical support, and conduct training on the features of and updates to the content management tool. The internal users include, but are not limited to, the business proposal coordinators, the sales team and the rest of the members of the CFT. The Content Manager maintains the RFP database content to ensure it is comprehensive, correct, compliant, compelling, and up to date. To achieve this, the Content Manager will interface with Subject Matter Experts and various members of the sales teams to gather, revise, and upload the most up-to-date and compelling information from across the organization. Excellent communication, coordination and editing skills are required to be successful. The Content Manager will need to develop an effective knowledge of Lexmark’s offerings and capabilities, the RFP system, and its database, and be able to proactively identify and help close gaps in the information. Surveying and reporting on usage, expired content, and other aspects as needed, will be required on at least a monthly basis. KEY ROLES &RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the end-to-end workflow of content management.
Manages all the administrative tasks related to the database.
Manages all content for all RFP-related training materials.
Willing to work night shift to support US and/or CAN business hours.
A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
At least 3 years’ worth of experience in journalism/business writing.
At least 3 years’ worth of experience in editing/copyediting.
At least 3 years’ worth of experience in project management.
Must have some experience in initiating/closing Operational Excellence-related projects.
Experience in working within an electronic database.
Capable of learning the Qvidian proposal system.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (including the ability to create pivot tables, formulas and links), Microsoft Power Point, Adobe Acrobat.
Internet savvy/effective online research skills.
Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) in standard business English (US and CAN, some UK).
