Chief Mechanic

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be a graduate of Automotive Technology or Automotive Servicing.
  • Atleast 5 years in Automotive or 2 years as Chief Mechanic
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensures accuracy of repair and maintenance needed for each vehicle under service operation
  • Receives and transmit vehicles from Service coordinator for inspection, repair and maintenance
  • Facilitates smooth, orderly and correct flow of requested materials for mechanics and technician vehicle under service.
  • Validates Materials / components requested for repair / service process
  • Assist and coordinates thru Service advisor repair and maintenance needed for vehicle under service operation.
  • Coordinate warranty concerns and technical issues to Service coordinator as the need arises.
  • Report unsafe act, disobedience, hazards, uphold safety and any other act / incident that may hamper the daily service operation
  • Conduct meeting with mechanics, technicians and or other directly related to service bay operation.
  • Keep records of equipment master list, measuring tools for calibration and conducts preventive maintenance of equipment regularly.
  • Ensure quality and road safety of every served vehicle under service operation before release and coordinates non-conformity.
  • Participate in the development, innovation and or any improvement directed by the company as needed.
  • Coordinates the need of training requirement that affects and hampers daily service operation
  • Translates technical data and manuals and designs to subordinates as needed.

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
License/Certification:
  • TESDA Certificate NCII (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Preferred)
