About the role We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at Golden Century Marketing in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic decision-making. What you'll be doing
Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and cash management processes
Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control
Liaise with internal stakeholders and auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and ensure the company's compliance
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role, preferably in the financial accounting and reporting industry
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, tax regulations, and auditing practices
Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing accounting teams
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
