HVAC Project Engineer
Job Summary: We are hiring an MEP Projects and Maintenance Specialist in the Oman. The ideal candidate must have strong MEP systems knowledge, project management skills, and client communication abilities. This role offers a chance to impact projects positively and provide top-notch service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams for MEP project proposals and plans.
- Create detailed project quotes, considering costs.
- Prepare comprehensive pre-inspection reports for MEP systems.
- Interact with clients during presales, offering technical solutions and aiding accurate proposals.
- Act as the main client contact, ensuring smooth communication.
- Perform post-inspection assessments and recommend maintenance.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety compliance.
- Supervise MEP system installation and testing.
- Manage project budgets and track expenses.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution.
- Prepare detailed project progress reports.
- Stay updated on MEP industry trends and regulations.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in MEP or related field.
- Proven MEP project management and maintenance experience, preferably in the Oman or Gulf region.
- Strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system knowledge.
- Proficiency in report writing and technical documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project management abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, CEM) a plus.
- Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge advantageous.
- GCC driving license preferred.
