The main purpose of the Field Sales Supervisor is to lead the team in delivering volume targets, distribution, visibility, and coverage targets within their area. As a leader, they must train, motivate, and control the Sales Team. Additionally, they must effectively lead, control, and manage the distributors and their team to achieve the distribution objectives which contribute overall to the ICP and facilitate the day-to-day operations between Nestle and the distributor(s) to effectively execute category requirements.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
Accountable and responsible for the ICP sales / volumes / value / OG and RIG objectives for their respective region through effective execution of plans.
Ensure that core distribution, coverage and visibility objectives are met in the assigned area.
Responsible to execute the agreed upon business plan with the distributor and managing the business plan and investments required to achieve it.
Accountable and responsible for effective adaptation and implementation of channel and sales plans.
Accountable for driving performance against plan and recommending corrective measures as required to achieve or surpass ICP.
Responsible to execute plans as agreed upon between the CDT & Sales Teams & to maximize opportunities and tailor solutions to needs.
Accountable for the effective execution of all activities in line with plan and review journey plans on a quarterly basis, to ensure operational effectiveness of team.
Assist in setting team monthly targets in line with the potential of each territory.
Accountable to carry out the field assessments among distributor staff and implement the required training to address staff training and development needs.
Responsible for highlighting potential operational and commercial gaps versus Nestle commercial standards that may affect business continuity.
Accountable and responsible for building and maintaining good commercial relationship with key customers.
What will make you successful…
4-6 years of relevant experience e (in Field Sales of FMCG preferably).
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field. MBA is a plus.
Full proficiency in English language skills.
Excellent knowledge with Microsoft Excel. Power BI is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Highly skilled in statistical analysis & forecasting.
Channel management knowledge, understand company Channel strategies and objective.
