We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Automation Service Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, control systems, and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining automation equipment in industrial environments, ensuring that automated processes run efficiently and reliably.
If necessary, you will have to work jointly with other company functions (Sales and Proposal, Engineering and Application Engineering … etc) in order to receive the necessary support solve the field issues and provide quality services / project deliverables.

Essential Duties:
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission automation equipment such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), sensors, drives, and related control systems on-site.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair issues with automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- System Integration: Design, integrate, and implement automation solutions tailored to the specific needs of the client or production process.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with process engineers and operators to optimize automation processes for efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Field Testing: Perform field testing, calibration, and adjustments to automation systems to ensure accurate performance and compliance with design specifications.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for installations, configurations, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support and training to clients, ensuring they are confident in operating and maintaining automated systems.
- Compliance: Ensure all automation installations and modifications comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics.
Qualifications:
- Fluent English (oral and written).
- 0-3 years’ experience
- Good control and automation knowledge.
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet)
- Familiarity with robotics, mechatronics, or other advanced automation technologies
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-work capabilities.
- Capability to self-assess & follow-up your own performance.
- Flexibility and ability to learn fast.
- Problem solving skills and predisposition to understand and explain in a simple way high level technical information.
- Continuous Improvement mindset.
- Willingness of achieving ambitious goals both individual and common.
- Ability to work respecting clear deadlines.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with technical stakeholders (Colleagues, End Users, Suppliers).
- Availability to travel occasionally WW.
- Knowledgeable on digital communication tools
