Job Title: Business Development Manager - Interior Designing & Fit-Out Location: RVI Muscat Oman Department: Marketing & Business Development Reports To: CEO Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategies to increase market share in the interior design and fit-out industry. The role requires a strong understanding of the industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Analyze market conditions, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
Develop a deep understanding of the interior design and fit-out market, including key players, project types, and emerging trends.
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients in commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality sectors.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable business deals.
Sales Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and sales targets.
Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Track and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure that client requirements are fully understood and met.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Networking & Industry Engagement:
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry developments, including new products, technologies, and design trends, to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience (6+ years) in business development, sales, or a similar role within the interior design or fit-out industry.
Strong network of contacts within the commercial, residential, and retail sectors is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A strong understanding of the interior design and fit-out process, including materials, suppliers, and industry standards.
