Greet and Seat Customers:
Welcome guests as they arrive, guide them to their tables, and provide menus.
Take Orders:
Accurately take food and drink orders from customers, ensuring all special requests are noted.
Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff.
Serve Food and Drinks:
Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and correctly.
Check back with customers to ensure everything is satisfactory.
Assist with Recommendations:
Suggest menu items, specials, or drinks to guests based on their preferences.
Offer information about ingredients, preparation methods, and any dietary considerations.
Handle Payments:
Provide the check, process payments (cash, credit, etc.), and return change when necessary.
Maintain Cleanliness:
Keep tables, dining areas, and workstations clean and organized.
Ensure utensils, glasses, and dishes are clean before serving.
Respond to Complaints and Inquiries:
Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Inform management if issues cannot be resolved at the table.
Assist with Opening/Closing Duties:
Help set up the restaurant before opening and clean up after closing, including setting tables and stocking supplies.
Follow Health and Safety Regulations:
Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines to ensure customer safety.
Collaborate with Team:
Work closely with other waitstaff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
