Job Objective: The client is seeking a proactive, experienced and intelligent Technical Assistant to help the Deputy Director General to organize and manage key priorities, and balance important internal systems, processes, and stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support including schedule management, correspondence, and administrative tasks in day-to-day operations.
Provide apt research and analytical support on trends and developments in the external environment for informed decision making.
Coordinate the development of thought leadership articles, technical papers, presentations, briefing documents and reports.
Support the monitoring, tracking and reporting of progress and target achievement on initiatives, projects and programs.
Provide technical support for the realization of strategic and operational goals and objectives.
Attend to correspondences linked to the organization where the Deputy DG provides support and ensures that they are properly attended to in a prompt manner.
Improve the Deputy DG’s turnaround time on correspondence that requires his attention and swift dissemination of outbound correspondence.
Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion especially decisions directly impacting the global operations of the organization.
Key Requirements:
First degree in any relevant discipline from a reputable institution. An MBA will be added advantage.
4+ years of experience as a technical assistant to a top executive preferably from a Consulting Firm.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Proven ability to conduct research, analyze data, and prepare informative documents.
Experience with technical document management, analysis, and interpretation.
Excellent communication skills; strong command of the English language.
Excellent judgment and impeccable discretion, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Adaptive to changing priorities, identifying conflicts, and proactively suggesting resolutions.
Knowledge of project management principles and tools.
Excellent organizational skills; resourceful and detail-oriented with a track record of solving complex problems independently.
Proactive; self-starter with an approachable “can do” mindset and a positive attitude.
