We are seeking an experienced and skilled Surgical Doctor to join our client’s healthcare team in IKEJA area of LAGOS. The successful candidate will bring expertise in surgical procedures, deliver exceptional patient care, and work collaboratively with healthcare staff to ensure a safe and effective environment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of surgical procedures following established protocols.
Diagnose and treat patients, developing treatment plans based on best practices.
Conduct routine pre- and post-operative care, including consultations and follow-ups.
Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records, documenting surgeries and recovery progress.
Participate in ongoing training, conferences, and medical rounds.
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards within the surgical environment.
Requirements:
Medical degree with a specialization in surgery.
Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Doctor in a clinical or hospital setting.
Proficiency in surgical techniques, clinical assessments, and decision-making.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Commitment to patient-centered care and confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
Full-time permanent role with shift rotations.
On-call responsibilities as needed.
Exposure to surgical environments, including emergency and trauma cases.
