Senior Laboratory Technician
Job Title: Senior Laboratory Technician/Manager
Location: Ibadan

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Laboratory Technician/Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in feed mill operations, proficiency in the use of NIR testing machines, and a strong ability to perform tests on raw materials and finished feeds.
Job Responsibilities:
* Conduct and oversee laboratory tests on raw materials and finished feeds to ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards.
* Operate and maintain NIR (Near-Infrared) testing machines, as well as other laboratory equipment.
* Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results.
* Work closely with the production and quality control teams to address any issues related to feed quality.
* Implement and maintain laboratory best practices and protocols.
* Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in laboratory testing and feed mill technology.
* Manage and mentor junior laboratory staff as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* B.Sc./HND in Science Laboratory Technology or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in feed mill companies.
* Strong expertise in the use of NIR testing machines and other laboratory equipment.
* Proven ability to carry out detailed tests on raw materials and finished feeds.
* Membership of relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
