Senior Digital Sales Strategist (Pulse Sports)
- Pulse Sports is looking for a Senior Digital Sales Strategist to join our team in Nigeria who will drive revenue growth by developing and pitching winning creative digital strategies for clients to solve their business challenges and aid them in achieving their marketing goals and objectives.
- You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities to sell our digital product portfolio and services.
- Our Senior Digital Strategists drive commercial opportunities among top brands by prospecting, nurturing leads, and networking with customers and client-side decision-makers to close deals.
- Identify business opportunities and develop effective strategies to approach and pitch our solutions and capabilities.
- Contribute to team effort by establishing high-level contacts and ensuring that the defined sales process is followed.
- Close deals and work towards set targets, ultimately positively impacting the company's revenues.
- Manage client relationships and provide customers with excellent service and support.
- Manage fluid communication and processes across teams with a focus on the Account Management department.

Contribute to team learning sessions and knowledge sharing on an ongoing basis in the Nigerian
team and also pan-Africa - Work with the project execution teams to ensure customer goals are achieved.
- Continuously engage customers and client-side decision-makers to maintain close relationships to identify upsell, resell, and new business opportunities.
- Develop strategies and processes for internal use to strengthen our market presence and market share further.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends, industry issues, and solutions, be aware of competitive activity in the market and with clients, and help to ensure Pulse is always innovating with great client solutions
- A degree in Communications or Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development in Sports Media/Advertising industries required.
- A creative thinker who can connect 360° digital to all aspects of a client’s business and drive growth opportunities.
- Experience with sales with Sports Media Platforms and a great network of Sports Media industry is mandatory.
- Detailed understanding of social media networks and media marketing methods
- Excellent networking skills and a demonstrated ability in key client/partner relationship management
- An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, start-up environment with dynamic business priorities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Zoho CRM is desirable.
- Portfolio of previous marketing projects.
