Product Specialist - Corporate Office Cape Town
Job Description
- Develop the product strategy for the portfolio
- Conceptualise, innovate, and operationalise solutions that drive continuous improvement of product, systems, processes, procedures and best practice standards Buying and negotiating around cost and selling price to attract customers
- Develop budget for the portfolio and effectively monitor and deliver on the financials
- Build an effective and professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively within team of peers and other stakeholders

- Relevant tertiary qualification with a Supply Chain Management and/or Finance and/or Business Administration focus
- 5 years' experience of procurement or purchasing in building material industries
- Specialist knowledge of building material product portfolio
- Knowledge of pricing and sourcing strategies and methodologies
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting and management skills
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and solution-focused
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus
