d2m Services is recruiting a Company Site Representative (CSR) for an offshore project in Nigeria with solid knowledge of engineering, construction, on-site installations, load-out operations, safety, and managing contractors. Ensuring FSO Replacement Project Work are executed in line within specification and schedule.
Purpose and Goals
The CSR ensures that all project work aligns with contract specs and quality expectations. This role also focuses on keeping Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards high, aiming to meet the project’s safety goals onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the Site Team: Oversee the company and contractor teams to keep everyone organized and working well across all project areas.
Communication and Coordination: Keep communication clear within the team, with contractors, and other relevant parties to maintain a collaborative and motivated work atmosphere.
Supervising Activities: Keep a close eye on site activities—fabrication, assembly, construction, load-out—to ensure they stay on track in terms of safety, cost, timeline, and quality.
Document Control: Make sure project documents are monitored and shared appropriately across the team.
Resource Management: Regularly check that contractor and subcontractor resources are well allocated, spotting any gaps early and ensuring quick adjustments.
Problem Solving: Anticipate potential issues, suggesting and implementing solutions to prevent delays or execution problems.
Document Review: Review and comment on work methods, procedures, and relevant technical documents from contractors, ensuring consistency between engineering plans and construction approaches.
Planning and Monitoring: Analyze schedule updates with the project control team to optimize work sequences and avoid overlaps.
Reporting and Tracking: Set up project meetings to resolve any site issues, track actions taken, and produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Procurement Follow-Up: Monitor the arrival of procurement items to keep pace with the construction schedule, ensuring materials and equipment meet project standards.
Coordinating Load-Out and Site Changes: Manage load-out operations and approved site changes, documenting these for the final as-built dossier.
Closing Out Activities: Prepare the final report covering the construction activities.
HSE Focus
HSE as Top Priority: Ensure that safety, health, and environmental standards come first, with all work following the company’s HSE rules.
Personal and Team Safety: Be responsible for your safety and that of colleagues, while ensuring that project activities meet all environmental and safety standards.
Monitoring HSE Performance: Keep an eye on contractor and subcontractor HSE performance to make sure they follow project safety plans.
Requirements Qualifications: Degree or higher diploma in a relevant engineering field (mechanical, structural, etc.), with at least five years of experience in oil and gas project supervision. Experience: Minimum 15 years in oil and gas construction, along with solid knowledge of international codes and standards. Team Management: Strong experience leading multidisciplinary teams, with good communication, coordination, and delegation skills. Computer Skills: Comfortable with Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook. Language: Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Benefits Position: Onshore This role is available at PHC as a resident. Rrotation scheme 8 to 10 weeks, followed by a 2-week rest period. The expected working schedule is between 5 to 6 days per week.
