The successful candidate will be expected to design and implement complex industrial and commercial Solar systems.
Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing Solar systems
Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
Preparing specifications for purchases of Solar equipment and materials
Supervising or training project team members.
Maintaining electrical equipment.
Working with a variety of technicians.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Solar Electrical Engineer ·
Knowledge of the major engineering and design software such as ETAP, SACS, Auto CAD 2D & 3D, , STAADPro, and PDMS;
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Well-presented and professional.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be ready to travel at anytime.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules that outline tasks, milestones, and deadlines
Liaising with site construction teams and other related professionals
Monitor project timelines and make adjustments as needed to ensure completion
Identify shortcomings and advise on action plans on cost-reduction efforts
Work very closely with Project Director or Project Manager to plan, schedule, and programme major projects with your desired Planning Program.
Maintain accurate project documentation such as resource plans, change orders, labour, and expenses

As a Solar Panel Installer, you would be expected to carry out solar installations on high and low surfaces (as applicable) areas; carry out appropriate sunlight intensity readings; ensure proper structural alignment, and prevent water leakages where possible.
You would report directly to the Site System Engineer.
Ability to set up a 32′ ladder and make use of essential hand tools
Understand Voltage/amperage/ohms meter
Have basic electric and wiring knowledge
Assist Solar Technicians in assembling, installing, or maintaining solar systems on uneven terrain, roofs, or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics
Participate in all safety-related processes and programs as requested
Willing to work weekends and able to work on roofs.
Requirements
Must possess a First School Leaving Certificate (ND, HND, B.Sc are an added advantage).
Minimum of 3 years of experience.
Must be fluent in English language.
