Responsibilities:
Application Question(s):
- Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups
- Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route
- Interact with clients professionally at all times
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
- Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date
- Collect and deliver laboratory specimens, including histopathological samples, to and from clients within and outside the city
- Ensure timely delivery of specimens to the laboratory and clients
- Adhere to safety protocols while transporting laboratory specimens to prevent contamination or damage to the specimens
- Report any discrepancies or issues with specimen collection or delivery to the Laboratory Manager
- Ensure that the Car used for transportation is maintained in good condition and regularly serviced
- FSLC/SSCE or equivalent certificate
- Valid driving license
- Proven experience as a driver or similar role
- Good knowledge of the city and its road network
- Ability to follow safety protocols and adhere to strict timelines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours if required
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements
