Position Summary The General Manager is responsible for leading and managing the overall operations, strategy, and direction of Matrix Design and Works. This includes driving business growth, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining a positive work culture and team coordination. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement company-wide strategies and goals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Have a firm grip of the company’s processes and affairs. Demand results and reports from all departmental heads. 2. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships. Expand product lines and markets. 3. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including production, logistics, and administrative functions. Ensure efficient use of resources, optimal productivity, and high-quality output. 4. Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Ensure financial sustainability, profitability, and growth. 5. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of department heads and staff. Foster open communication, collaboration, and a positive work environment. 6. Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Oversee marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. 7. Product Development: Oversee design, development, production and quality of all Matrix design and works’ products. Ensure products meet market trends, customer needs, and quality standards. 8. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate business risks. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in a senior management role in the furniture and or manufacturing industry. Proven record of accomplishment of business growth, leadership, and operational excellence. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Experience in furniture design, production, and sales preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. Candidate with MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Skills: Strategic planning and execution.
