E-Commerce Officer
We are seeking a results-driven e Commerce Officer. In this role, you’ll lead our online retail strategy and enhance our website's visibility. You will oversee and be responsible for the e Commerce operations while implementing effective SEO strategies to drive traffic and increase conversions. You will collaborate with marketing, web development, and content teams to achieve business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.

- Oversee the overall e Commerce strategy to improve the online visibility of the brand, achieve sales targets, and enhance customer experience.
- Possess a strong knowledge of the e Commerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends.
- Manage day-to-day e Commerce operations, including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, including traffic, conversions, and revenue, and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
- Synthesize information to clearly communicate key learnings, actionable strategy, and testing opportunities, and recommend new opportunities to internal stakeholders and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on e-commerce SEO best practices and strategies
- Optimize website content, product descriptions, and metadata to improve search engine rankings.
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices to drive organic traffic.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Keyword Research: Identifying relevant search terms for optimization.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimizing website content and structure.
- Technical SEO: Implementing technical changes to improve site performance.
- Content Creation: Developing high-quality content for the website and blog.
- Link Building: Building high-quality backlinks to improve website authority.
- Analytics: Analyzing website data to measure SEO success and identify areas for improvement.
- E-Commerce Knowledge: Understanding of how e-commerce platforms work and how customers interact with them.
- Social Media Marketing: Ability to use social media platforms to promote products and services.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, and SEO (Experience in the retail fashion industry is an added advantage)
- Proven track record of driving online sales and improving website rankings.
- Proficiency in e Commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Woo Commerce) and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Familiarity with popular Content Management Systems such as Word Press, Shopify, Magento, Hub Spot, etc.
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Instagram, Face Book, and Linked In advertising platforms
- Google Ad Words and Google Analytics certifications a plus
- Ability to build reporting based on web behavior and key SEO metrics
- Able to effectively operate and complete complex tasks with minimal oversight
- Strong creative aptitude, including a keen eye for design and copywriting
- Strong visual, and verbal presentation analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
