In this role, you’ll be responsible for; 1. Strategic Planning & Execution
Collaborate with the CEO to shape and execute the company’s growth strategy and business plans, ensuring scalability in line with market demands.
Align departmental goals with the company's strategic objectives, coordinating with leaders in HR, Operations, Finance, and Compliance.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and support the company’s mission.
2. Operational Management
Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless functioning across all departments and optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Support department heads in refining workflows, streamlining operations, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress toward operational goals and adjust strategies as needed. 3. Financial Oversight & Resource Allocation
Partner with the Finance lead to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial resource allocation, aligning financial activities with the company’s strategic priorities.
Analyze financial reports and provide insights to the CEO, recommending corrective actions to improve financial performance and profitability.
Ensure financial compliance, fiscal responsibility, and risk management to support sustainablegrowth.4. Talent Management & Organizational Culture
Work closely with HR to foster a culture of engagement, innovation, and accountability, ensuring alignment with the firm’s growth trajectory and values.
Oversee talent management strategies, including recruitment, development, and retention, to build a resilient and high-performing workforce.
Implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, performance, and retention, maintaining a positive, inclusive workplace. 5. Compliance, Risk & Regulatory Management
Ensure that business operations adhere to legal, regulatory, and industry standards, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
Develop and implement risk management strategies, including operational and financial risk assessments, to mitigate potential impacts on the business.
Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining a proactive approach to potential legal and operational risks. 6. Data-Driven Decision-Making & Analytics
Leverage data analytics and insights to drive decision-making, optimize operational performance, and identify growth opportunities.
Monitor operational metrics, financial indicators, and market trends to make informed, strategic adjustments.
Promote a data-driven culture across departments, ensuring that decision-making is evidence-based and geared toward continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the executive team, department heads, and employees, fostering a collaborative environment.
Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, such as investors, regulators, and key partners, to ensure alignment with industry standards and maintain transparent communication.
Represent the company at industry events, promoting its mission, values, and thought leadership in the insurtech sector.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of senior management experience, with a proven track record in over seeing multiple business functions such as Operations, Finance, HR, and Strategy.
Experience in Insurance, Microinsurance, insurtech, or fintech sector is highly desirable.
Experience working with department heads and overseeing performance without direct management responsibility.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
Proven experience driving operational excellence and implementing business growth strategies
