**Job Description: Cashier at IGNITION CLUB AND ARENA**
**Overview:**
As a Cashier at IGNITION CLUB AND ARENA, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth transactions within our upscale night lounge. Your role is crucial in maintaining efficiency and contributing to a positive guest experience by handling payments accurately and efficiently.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Guest Service:**
- Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner as they arrive at IGNITION CLUB AND ARENA.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and general information about the venue.
2. **Cash Handling and Transactions:**
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately and efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly and that proper payment methods are applied.
3. **Order Coordination:**
- Collaborate with the bar and kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service to guests.
- Communicate special requests or modifications to orders accurately to the appropriate departments.
4. **Menu and Venue Knowledge:**
- Have a thorough understanding of IGNITION CLUB AND ARENA's menu offerings, including beverages and food items.
- Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and assist with menu navigation.
5. **Customer Satisfaction:**
- Address any concerns or issues raised by guests promptly and escalate to management as needed.
- Maintain a positive attitude and ensure guests leave satisfied with their experience.
6. **Cashier Station Maintenance:**
- Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels of POS supplies (receipt paper, change, etc.) and request replenishment as needed.
7. **Compliance and Security:**
- Adhere to all cash handling procedures and protocols to minimize errors and discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and ensure compliance with all privacy regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or retail environment.
- Strong numerical aptitude and proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems is an asset.
