The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of all audio systems within the club, guaranteeing an unmatched auditory experience for our patrons. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Sound System Maintenance:** - Perform regular checks and maintenance of all sound equipment, including speakers, amplifiers, mixers, and microphones. - Troubleshoot and repair any technical issues to prevent disruptions during events. - Ensure all sound systems are calibrated to deliver optimal audio quality. 2. **Equipment Setup and Configuration:** - Set up and configure sound systems for various events, ensuring sound quality meets the venue's top standards. - Work closely with DJs, performers, and event coordinators to meet specific sound requirements. 3. **Preventive Maintenance:** - Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime. - Keep detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and system updates. 4. **System Upgrades and Optimization:** - Recommend and oversee upgrades to the sound system to keep the venue at the forefront of audio technology. - Optimize sound settings to accommodate different genres of music and types of events. 5. **Safety and Compliance:** - Ensure all sound equipment complies with safety regulations. - Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks. 6. **Inventory Management:** - Maintain an inventory of all sound equipment, ensuring all necessary parts and accessories are in stock. - Order and manage supplies needed for sound system maintenance. 7. **Collaboration and Training:** - Collaborate with the technical team to ensure all aspects of the venue’s operations run smoothly. - Provide training and guidance to other staff members on basic sound equipment operation and troubleshooting. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience in sound engineering, with a strong background in sound system maintenance. - In-depth knowledge of audio equipment, including digital and analog systems. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure, especially during live events. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of audio quality. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. **Preferred:** - Certification in Sound Engineering or a related field. - Experience working in a high-end or continental venue. **How to Apply:** indeed Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₦40,000.00 - ₦50,000.00 per month
