MAIN FUNCTIONS
Coordinate the delivery of Camp and Catering services, Grounds-keeping, Non Process Building cleaning and minor Earthworks and Road Maintenance tasks within operational organizations. Includes services for local Airfield and occasional support to remote sites or assisting with project and contingency operations. To be considered for this role you must have strong safety leadership skills with previous exposure to major oil & gas company safety culture. In addition, you must be able to present ideas and communicate effectively across all levels of management.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management:
- Supervise and lead Facility Services functions for camp and catering operations, including maintenance and domestic services.
- Ensure control, accountability, and integrity of all consumable resources and equipment.
- Implement and lead the Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) 8-1, ensuring service levels are maintained and procedures are followed.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure equipment is serviceable and well-maintained.
Logistics and Compliance:
- Manage equipment rental operations and oversee compliance with company OIMS standards.
- Liaise with Operations and Contracts/Procurement groups to ensure Facility service support tasks are met.
- Implement Logistics Best Practices and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize benchmarking and market analysis for cost control and budget forecasting.
Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE):
- Communicate and demonstrate job safety requirements and proactive use of safety management tools.
- Ensure safe work practices and demonstrate safety leadership within the group and area.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Competencies:
- Highest standard of Safety, Health, and Environmental aptitude.

- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to foster cooperation with teams and third parties.
Qualifications:
- Food handling, safety, and catering/camp supervision qualifications.
- IT proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Training or leadership certifications, as well as safety leadership qualifications.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in Camp Operations and building maintenance, preferably in remote environments.
- Supervisory experience in a developing country setting and managing contractors.
- Familiarity with SAP or other computerized maintenance management tools.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced understanding of catering, camp management, and facility services.
- Knowledge of safety management tools, hygiene audits, waste management, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in risk identification, solution facilitation, and resource industry work environments/systems.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES
- Minimum 10 years’ catering and housekeeping experience with HACCP Level 3 qualification.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and willing to work onshore and offshore as needed.
Successful candidates expected to work breakfast through midnight meal shifts during the rotation period.
