Business Development Manager (Gadgets and Electronics)
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of conversions in the Consumer Electronics and Gadgets industries. The successful candidate will drive sales growth in two key areas: 1. Consumer Electronics/Telecoms: B2B, B2C, and B2G sales 2. Gadget Sales Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in all three areas.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective sales support and delivery.
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Negotiate and close high-value deals and strategic partnerships.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing in the Consumer Electronics and Gadget industries.
A hands on resource with management experience and own network for sales conversion.
Proven track record of sales conversions and revenue growth.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian market and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, or related).
Must be based in Lagos
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in B2B, B2C, and B2G sales.
Familiarity with training program sales and activation.
MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification
