JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Merchant Acquisition and Onboarding:
Identify and engage potential merchants from informal retail markets, social commerce platforms and e Commerce marketplaces.
Onboard merchants from key verticals, including health, fashion, cosmetics and food, ensuring they understand and utilize the company's platform effectively.
Develop personalized acquisition strategies for different merchant segments to increase conversion rates.
Lead Tracking and Conversion:
Track leads and follow up with prospective merchants, ensuring a high rate of conversion to customers booking orders on the platform.
Collaborate with the sales team to maintain a robust pipeline and optimize conversion strategies at each stage of the sales funnel.
Engagement on Social Media:
Actively engage with prospects and existing customers on social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Linked In, promoting the company's services.
Respond to inquiries, comments, and feedback on social media to foster engagement and build a positive brand presence.
Monitor social media trends and conversations relevant to the Company’s target audience and adjust messaging accordingly.
Content Creation and Social Media Management:
Generate engaging content for the company’s blog, focusing on logistics, e Commerce trends and merchant success stories.
Manage social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts that highlight the company’s services, industry trends and customer testimonials.
Use analytics tools to measure engagement, track social media performance and adjust strategies to improve reach and impact.
Marketing Engagement Activities:
Organize webinars, seminars, and training sessions to educate merchants on how to optimize their use of the company’s platform.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content for engagement activities, ensuring high merchant participation and loyalty.
Performance Reporting and Strategy Development:
Report on merchant acquisition, social media engagement, and blog performance, presenting data-driven recommendations to the Head of Sales.
Continuously improve merchant engagement strategies and marketing efforts to meet acquisition targets and grow the company’s presence in key verticals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or digital marketing, preferably in logistics, e Commerce, or technology sectors.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets, onboarding merchants and managing customer engagement on social media platforms.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficiency in content creation, social media management and digital marketing tools.
Ability to conduct market research, analyze competitors, and apply insights to enhance customer experience.
Deep understanding of e Commerce platforms, social commerce and informal retail markets.
