This role will encompass the planning and facilitation of therapeutic activities, delivered in a kaupapa Māori environment. Demonstrate your outstanding leadership qualities as you inspire groups of rangatahi to latch onto their strengths and chase their own aspirations for success.
If you've got a qualification in Health, Sport, or Fitness, ka pai! If not, don't hold back - we value hard earned experience and the ability to connect with rangatahi. This is the type of mahi where you will roll up your sleeves, bring the energy, and muck in where required.
Your Skills & Experience.
For this role, we're seeking candidates that embody the following competencies:
Strong commitment to Te Reo me ōna tikanga.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Holistic understanding of Māori health and wellbeing.
Demonstrated experience in planning and facilitation.
Confident with outdoor activities e.g., swimming, preparing kai.
Ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
Clean, Full NZ Driver's License essential for local travel.
