The Trade Counter area delivers the first and last impression of our Trade business. It is vital that the people we seek can remain cool under pressure and are able to think on their feet. We are looking for someone that can provide excellent service to each customer they serve and going the extra mile will be the norm. This is a part-time position with 16 hours per week, on a Friday and a Saturday, with the flexibility to pick up extra hours during the rest of the trading week when needed. Duties will include:
Providing the highest standard of customer service;
Ensuring all checkout transactions are processed quickly and efficiently;
Willing to "go that extra mile" for customers;
Maintain a high level of department presentation;
Ensure that security procedures are followed
Applicants will need to display the following skills and attributes:
Previous cash handling skills;
Computer savvy and organised;
Experience with a POS system (specific training given)
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work in a team environment
Reliable with good time management
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
