We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café/restaurant. Please note: you will be required to work in multiple locations including our restaurants in Nelson and Richmond, Tasman. Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or a Diploma in a related field.
A valid alcohol license is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Chefs to plan and develop diverse menus.
Organise and manage special events and functions.
Oversee the purchasing and pricing of goods, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions.
Ensure dining areas comply with health regulations, maintaining cleanliness, functionality, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure their satisfaction with our service and meals.
Recruit, train, and supervise both kitchen and waiting staff.
Assist with guest reservations, greetings, and order-taking as required.
Employment Details:
Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 45 hours.
Hourly remuneration ranges from $28 to $34, based on experience.
