Regional Planning Project Assistant
Environment Southland have a variety of Summer Student roles available commencing in November or December 2024.
You are eligible to apply if you are currently enrolled in a tertiary institution or have graduated this year.
All roles are offered at a rate of $27.80 per hour.
All roles are 37.5 hours per week unless specified otherwise

Regional Planning Project Assistant:
Contract end date: 28 February 2024
Assist the Regional Planning team with project work and administrative support.
Work will include tasks supporting projects such as: collating responses to consultation on both a Plan Change to the proposed Water and Land Plan, the review of the Regional Coastal Plan, and potential changes to the Regional Policy Statement; implementing the National Planning Standards; and assisting with the development of e Plans.
