About us | Whakapā mai
Our Kauri site was established in 1989 and is Fonterra’s northernmost site. The site produces a range of milk powders, butter, AMF and a range of speciality products. Kauri’s Skim Milk Power evaporator remains the largest single stage evaporator in NZ!
About the opportunity | Te whai waahi
This role comes with variety and broad exposure within different areas of our manufacturing site. As Production Administrator, you will be providing exceptional support and assistance to our plant leadership team through a variety of administration functions which will enable them to effectively and efficiently manage the day to day operations of the plant.
Reporting to our Plant Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Co-ordinating and updating Standard Operating Procedures and quality manuals
- Liaising with Training Co-ordinators and act as the main point of contact for the
department to ensure training needs are met and that training records are updated
- Producing daily, weekly and monthly reporting such as KPI’s and Scorecards reports
- Supporting the administration and control of raw materials and ingredients for the
team
- Recording accurate inventory lists and ordering of consumables
- Raising purchase orders and requesting stock
- Assisting in organising departmental functions and events as appropriate.

Your ability to manage a large and often broad volume of work, self-manage, and prioritize demands will set you apart from the rest. As a team player and the go-to person, you will have an extremely high level of attention to detail while working systematically and using your initiative to achieve our goals.
Other key skills and experience include:

Proven computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite
- Confidence in interacting with people from all levels of the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to juggle conflicting priorities
- Good attention to detail
- A proactive, positive attitude.
