About HG Morsink Ltd
HG Morsink Ltd is a well-known local business with a proud history and a reputation for delivering excellent results for our residential, commercial and industrial clients. We have been providing Southlanders and their businesses with painting, decorating and maintenance services to meet their needs and exceed their expectations for more than 60 years. With a strong client focus, we do it all - from painting and wallpapering to gibstopping and industrial coating - and we do it a little differently. We are flexible and pride ourselves on our commitment to working around our clients, being careful, considerate and upfront in all our dealings.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team.
About the role
Our Operations Manager will enjoy a wide variety of work as you lead our team, ensuring the effective day-to-day management and coordination of all our services. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling jobs, organising our trade team and assigning staff, costing projects, identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies within the business, and motivating our team to maximise staff performance. Most importantly, you will ensure our operations run smoothly and deliver the highest level of service to all our clients.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in business or operations management, or significant experience in the building industry (or a similar trade). This opportunity would suit someone with a managerial background, who has a high level of technical expertise and project management experience they are keen to utilise in a new role. You will be busy, so excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks are important, as is a commitment to health and safety. This is a pivotal leadership role within our business, so proven leadership skills and prior experience successfully leading a team is essential, along with the ability to work autonomously.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and flexibility is available in the hours worked. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate, including a vehicle and cellphone.
