We are seeking a passionate and strategic Marketing Lead to guide our marketing efforts and drive exceptional outcomes for Business Bank and Corporate Bank.

As the Marketing Lead for Business Bank and Corporate Bank, you will passionately lead a team of marketers to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that resonate with our B2B audiences. Your expertise will be crucial in aligning marketing initiatives with our overarching business objectives, ensuring that we win, retain, and engage ASB business customers effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of marketing strategies that align with the priorities of the Business Bank and Corporate Bank divisions while ensuring these strategies meet Brand & Marketing Practice KPIs. You will drive the execution of annual and quarterly marketing plans, managing budgets and resources to achieve key business outcomes, including Corporate Reputation, Business NPS, customer engagement and growth targets. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and capabilities across the Bank, fostering collaboration across various teams, and ensuring their needs are reflected in the marketing strategy. Your leadership will inspire a high-performance culture within your team, supporting their development and clearing obstacles to enable them to deliver exceptional work. You will understand the important roles that brand, advertising, content, events, partnerships, communications, digital channels, sales enablement, and marketing automation plays in this portfolio. And you will oversee the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels, ensuring a consistent and seamless brand experience, while maintaining adherence to brand, legal, policy, and compliance standards.

To be successful in this role, you will be a senior B2B marketing specialist with a deep understanding of the nuances and craft required for a business audience (15+ years). You will possess a highly strategic mindset, capable of delivering robust marketing strategies that deliver to commercial outcomes. You will be proven in influencing your most senior stakeholders to deliver brave, progressive marketing strategies and campaigns. As a proven leader, you will be known for building an inspirational, high-performing, and collaborative culture. Your expertise will encompass all marketing channels, including socials, content, events, brand, digital, marketing automation, partnerships, and sponsorships. You will be driven to define, meet, and exceed engagement and profitable growth targets, with a strong emphasis on measuring, refining, and optimising performance. Your experience managing significant budgets will highlight your commitment to driving efficiency and ROI. You will bring a passion for collaboration and continuous learning, coupled with an inclusive, warm, and authentic nature that fosters genuine relationships with both your team and stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be essential to your success in this role.
