Overview We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced, charismatic and knowledgeable individual to join a niche team of wealth business development managers based within Personal Banking division. The purpose of this role is to develop and grow the capability within the Bank's distribution networks, to create visibility, build confidence and execute on our Wealth & Kiwisaver distribution strategy. By advocating and championing our ASB Wealth product offering and services, the networks will benefit from a deeper understanding of ASB Wealth thus enabling better conversations, ability to meet more customer needs and enhance customer experiences. What will you do A critical responsibility of the role is to develop and manage key relationships throughout ASB and to sustain them by maintaining a visitation programme (call cycle) of agreed regions/sites. You will be required to present and facilitate training sessions with staff on the front line, advocate wealth conversations and champion excellent service and conduct. You will also from time to time represent ASB in a competitive environment to potential new clients. Applying your knowledge of FSLAA requirements relating to Investment products and advice, you will drive the achievement of financial, P&L and other targets relating to ASB Wealth. As someone who understands trends, behaviours and regulatory environments of the Investments industry, you'll also identify, develop and deliver business opportunities/initiatives to the network and support the delivery of new process or product development. What you will bring You will be passionate about people, enjoy coaching and developing to ensure they have quality conversations and continue to deliver outstanding results. You will draw on your extensive Banking and Financial Services background and possess considerable ability to influence and network. Relationship building will be a strength and experience in presenting concepts and ideas in a simplified manner is a key attribute. You will be required to identify areas of opportunity and plan your weeks to ensure success of your regions so being able to analyse data is a must.
