Te Au Reka represents the opportunity of a lifetime, making a profound difference to those who work in and interact with our courts and tribunals. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for the planning, design and delivery of innovative and engaging learning solutions that align with the Ministry's strategic direction. Your role is crucial in empowering learners and ensuring that our training initiatives meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
You will collaborate with the Te Au Reka Change and Process teams, operational groups, and key stakeholders to design the learning solutions and will report into the Learning and Development function of the courts and tribunals.

  • Extensive experience in learning design and development, ideally within a large-scale transformation or digital initiative.
  • Proven leadership skills with a strong track record of empowering and developing high-performing teams.

  • Project management expertise to ensure learning initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles, concepts and techniques with demonstratable experience applying these to successfully achieve learning project outcomes.
