An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and confident Personal Assistant to join our awesome team on a fixed-term basis to cover a period of parental leave.
The Operations team is responsible for three main work areas: business support and facilities; executive support; and accommodation. Personal Assistants sit within the executive support part of the Operations Team.
The Ministry's administration model is customer-focused, flexible and integrated to ensure that tailored and seamless support is provided to all areas of the organisation. Personal Assistants are expected to develop a strong understanding of their assigned business area and to work closely with other Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants and the Team Leader Business Support.
You will work as part of an integrated administration services team and are responsible for delivering support to at least two General Managers. You will also be an active member of the Business Support and Facilities team to solve problems, provide advice and make improvements to administration services across the whole Ministry.
Ngā Whakaritenga Mōkito | Skills and Experience
Significant demonstrated experience providing executive support to senior leaders, particularly Tier 3 leaders, in an government agency
Expertise in diary management
Confident in prioritising conflicting priorities and ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure
Advanced computer skills including sound knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products
Strong communication and influencing skills, aptitude to work across the business
The ability to remain objective, discrete and exercise common sense at all times

Salary range: $69,248 to $83,720 pa. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
