Nelson Bays Primary Health (NBPH) is the Primary Health Organisation (PHO) for the Nelson Tasman region. NBPH leads and coordinates a range of primary health care services through its contracted General Practices and other Primary providers e.g. Māori Providers, NGOs and Volunteer organisations in the delivery of the Primary Health Care Strategy.

An exciting opportunity has become available in our Richmond based office for the following role:

Kaiāwhina - Kaiatawhai Service - 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

We are seeking a kaimahi who is passionate about helping whānau connect and flourish as part of the solution.

This position will collaborate with the Kaiatawhai nurse, as well as primary and community care providers, to better address the needs of patients and whānau with significant health needs.

About you:

At least two years’ experience working within the health sector
A full and clean driver’s licence is required
Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development in their work area

Preferred:

A qualification; in a health field such as nursing, allied health or social work

Where required, additional training and support will be provided for the successful applicant.
