Duty Manager - Foxglove

One of these venues is Foxglove, one of Wellington’s busiest and most iconic waterfront establishments.

Foxglove is now seeking a Duty Manager who lives and breathes hospitality. If you’re passionate about advancing your career in this dynamic industry, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
As a Duty Manager at Foxglove, you’ll be responsible for running the establishment on a shift-by-shift basis, reporting directly to your Business Leader. You'll be joining a growing family—a like-minded whānau united by a passion for hospitality and dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

In addition, Star Group owns and manages Star Social, a platform designed to connect our 50+ bars, pubs, and restaurants, enriching them with rewarding experiences. We’re always on the lookout for more hospitality rockstars to join our ever-growing team, united in our mission to bring people together.

What you’ll offer us:

An impressive background in hospitality management
A great understanding of opening/closing venues & cashing up
Experience managing and leading a team
Competency on both the bar & floor
Outstanding food & beverage knowledge
An awesome ability to build relationships with customers and team members
An ability to keep cool under pressure
For compliance purposes, a valid LCQ & Manager's certificate
