DUTY MANAGER
- Collaborate with chefs to design, plan, and regularly update menus, including determining pricing strategies.
- Work closely with chefs to coordinate special orders, events, and functions.
- Oversee procurement and pricing of supplies, ensuring strict adherence to budget constraints.
- Maintain detailed inventory records, managing stock and placing orders with suppliers while implementing the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) policy.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency in dining areas.
- Engage with customers to assess their satisfaction with both meals and service.
- Recruit, train, and supervise both waitstaff and kitchen personnel.
- Create staff schedules, manage rosters, and track attendance.
- Handle reservations, greet guests, and assist with order-taking as required.
- Demonstration of good character with no criminal record is essential
- A minimum of three years of work experience in this industry or NZQF diploma are required
- As a Chinese cuisine, we prefer to be bilingual in Mandarin and English
