About the role: As a business, we are in an exciting growth phase; we are looking for a Director of Precision Technology to join our team to support our New Zealand Branches. As the Director of Precision Technology, you will provide leadership and direction for focused Agricultural technology product sales and support in the Brandt AOR. Director of Precision Technology is accountable for universal precision wholegood sales, technology optimisation, and assisting with Brandt's growing Precision Technology business strategy. Responsibilities include:
Achieving sales growth and profitability throughout the assigned Territory.
Assisting in achieving asset management goals of turn and aging and protecting company assets.
Providing assistance and guidance for forecasting the right inventory mix to achieve sales and market share goals in the assigned Territory.
Provide continuous input on developing standard machine specifications technology offerings and encourage the selling of the FAB's of the standards.
Assist in the management and development of all sales staff to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company and customers.
Facilitate and promote corporate sales strategy and initiatives through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
Assist and have input in recruiting, training, developing, and managing dedicated Branch sales staff in the Agricultural technology space.
Provide input on advertising, promotion and marketing in connection with the Brandt Sales Support and Marketing department
Assist with the negotiation of sales contracts with customers.
Establish and maintain good public relations with all stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience and comprehensive knowledge of agricultural equipment are considered assets.
Strong customer service skills.
Highly motivated and self-directed.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
A valid driver's licence is required.
