About the role:
We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to join our Agriculture Sales team. The Vice President will provide leadership and direction for the Sales and will be responsible for sales performance, market share growth, and aligning sales objectives with Brandt's business strategy.
This position will be ideally based one of or Waikato branches however this could be negotiable for the right candidate
Responsibilities include:

Achieving sales growth and profitability throughout the assigned Territory.

Achieving asset management goals of turn and aging and protecting company assets. Included but not limited to new and used whole goods inventory.

Providing assistance and guidance for forecasting the right inventory mix to achieve sales and market share goals in the assigned Territory.

Provide continuous input on developing standard machine specifications and encourage selling the FAB's of the standards.

Assist in managing and developing all sales employees to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company and customers.

Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.

Facilitate and promote corporate sales strategy and initiatives through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.

Achieving the financial sales performance targets as set out in the Company Budget.

Recruitment, training, development, and management of direct reports.

Provide input on advertising, promotion and marketing in connection with Brandt sales.

Assist with the negotiation of sales contracts with customers.

Establish and maintain good public relations with all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years Sales Management experience and comprehensive knowledge of Agriculture equipment are considered an asset.

Strong customer service skills.

Highly motivated and self-directed.

Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.

Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.

Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.

A valid driver's licence is required.
