About the Role
Working in our Sports Maintenance team, you will be working closely with the Turf Manager to maintain and manage high quality facilities for Auckland’s sports clubs.
This will include general park maintenance, turf and grass establishment, line marking, cricket wicket preparation, irrigation, drainage and operating tools and machinery. Although this role will be working out of our Rosedale depot, we also have opportunities to work across East Auckland and South Auckland too. This role is 40 hours per week guaranteed and the hourly rate is $28 -$30 per hour depending on skills and experience
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Working with others to follow and complete a schedule of work.
- General field and park maintenance.
- Cricket Wicket preparation.
- Turf and grass establishment.
- Irrigation and drainage.
- Assist in other projects as required.
About You
- Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role
- Hold a Growsafe Certificate
- Have a full NZ Drivers licence.
- Take pride in your work and are committed to consistently delivering quality workmanship.
- Are physically fit and committed to getting the job done.
- Have flexibility to work additional hours as the season requires.
- Are reliable and always on time for work.
- Energetic and self-motivated.
- Hold qualifications in Turf Management.
- Hold a current Growsafe certificate.
