About the Role
This role sits within our Transport team based in Whangarei. You will be part of a strong and stable team responsible for providing traffic management as per the relevant code, ensuring that all legal and contractual requirements are met. You will be responsible for running the traffic management crew, maintaining the sites and crew as well as delivering timeframes.
You will participate in a rostered shift pattern across Monday to Sunday, occasionally there is Night and weekend work.
About You
To be successful in the role you will have your Relevant Site Traffic Management Qualification (STMS Qualification Level 1/CAT AB STMS. A valid Class 2 driver’s license is preferred, and a reasonable level of computer literacy is expected. You will need to be physically fit and willing to work early hours and under different weather conditions, as well as the below.
- Hold a a Clean Class 1 full licence but Class 2 would be preferable
- Must hold a Level 1 STMS qualification, CAT A, CAT B would be preferable
- A minimum of 5 + years experience
- Be familiar with basic maintenance and construction equipment and processes
- Ability to lead set up of temporary sites to provide a safe work environment for workers & public
