We’re currently seeking experienced Buyers to join the team. You’ll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community. The Role
Oversight of stock range, ensuring range matches the format and customer service requirements whilst optimizing stock levels and stock turn.
Ensure orders are placed on time and manage any delivery discrepancies.
Review category shelf layouts to ensure product is merchandised to the highest standard and sales and profit potential is reached.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and reps.
Price negotiation with suppliers.
Achieve price integrity by ensuring all process are always correct in SAP and POS equipment.

Previous buying experience in a supermarket setting – ideally within grocery or chilled/frozen.
Solid understanding of category flow and merchandising.
Understanding of SAP and Symphony software.
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
