An opportunity has opened up to join our small diverse Business Cards and Merchant team. A Business Card and Merchant Specialist is primarily responsible for assessing and onboarding a customer for Merchant products, services and fulfil requests for Business credit cards.
In Merchant Acquiring this can include a product analysis conversation, assessing applications, general merchant questions, or closing a facility and applying final account charges.
You will engage with customers and our internal stakeholders, ensure risk and compliance requirements are met, analyse information, and make informed decisions for our customers and the bank.

- Prior banking experience in a contact centre, branch or banking operations is preferred.
- Proven ability to self-manage time against rostered tasks.
- Ability to analyse problems, provide valid and well thought out solutions and confident in making decisions.
- Experience in identifying and implementing process improvement solutions.
- Clear and articulate verbal and written communication skills .
