Bridge Construction Engineer

Bridge Construction Engineer - Whangārei
Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We continue to build on our successes in the NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi and local authority bridge management space. We’re responsible for a range of assets across the wider Northland region, including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and river protection structures.
We have an exciting opening for a civil or structural professional engineer to join our Whangārei bridge team to support our ongoing construction programme including:
  • Life-extending strengthening and remediation works
  • Upgrades of existing structures to meet higher loadings
  • Resilience improvements and climate adaption projects
  • Repairs for vehicle damage and heavy rainfall events
While being based in Whangārei, you will have access to a truly multi-discipline business where you can draw on leading subject matter and technical experts to support delivery of your projects. You will be undertaking construction monitoring and contract administration, as well as helping with contract development and procurement of the works.
Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$68,000 – $102,000.00, depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.
This is an excellent career opportunity to be part of a market leader in bridge engineering and structures asset management.
