Biosecurity Senior Field Officer - Whangarei
The opportunity
At Asure Quality our Biosecurity and field team provide services to help protect New Zealand against exotic pests and disease incursions and this is an opportunity for you to be on the frontline of this battle.
This is a part time position of 40 hours per fortnight.
About you:
To be considered for this role will require …
Everyday our experienced team of 1800+ people work alongside others throughout the food supply chain to help them uphold what Aotearoa stands for in food - a higher standard of quality and safety.
We are passionate about our shared role as Kaitiaki Kai, guardians of food, and have a deep responsibility to do the right thing for food and the environments it comes from.
We are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining great people, and supporting them to be the best they can be.

To be considered for this role will require …
- A strong fit mind and body!
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- The ability to use phone app and computer technology
- A strong health and safety focus
- Previous experience in Biosecurity is highly desirable but not essential.
- A full, clean New Zealand drivers licence is essential
