About the role - We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals with plenty of initiative to help provide a high quality, friendly reception service at our Hawera Aquatic Centre. The Aquatic Centre has an indoor heated all year complex featuring a 25mpool, learner's pool, toddler's splash park, thermal pool and hydro slide. Spacious attractive grounds feature a heated outdoor 50m pool and learners and toddler's pool.
The purpose of these roles is to provide excellent customer service, administration assistance and assist in the daily running of aquatic operations. As the first point of contact, this is your chance to make a real difference to your community by making their aquatic experience an enjoyable one.
Do you have what it takes - These are busy roles providing a variety of duties from greeting all customers with respect and in a friendly manner, ensuring customer enquiries and complaints are responded to, assisting senior staff to ensure daily poolside operations run in line with the aquatic day sheet, that all bookings are entered accurately into the system and any receipt of payments are completed accurately. This role will also keep accurate statistics and records for reporting purposes, update and maintain all promotion and information displays and work harmoniously with other staff members to achieve a desired outcome while maintaining stock for resale.
About You - Great customer service ethic is a must. You are a team player, computer savvy and preferably has experience in a reception/administration role. Previous experience using booking/membership systems is advantageous.
Applicants for this position must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand, therefore must have NZ residency or hold a valid NZ work visa. In terms of residence class visa applications, priority will be given where the applicant is in New Zealand.
