About the Role - We are looking for casual, on call staff for our Library Plus in Patea, Hawera, Opunake, Manaia and Eltham. These positions are offered on a casual basis with no guarantee of a minimum number of hours per week. You will need to be able to work a minimum of three, and up to a maximum of eight hours a day, as required, at times with short notice and on occasion a Saturday morning. As some travel is involved in these positions a driver's licence is essential.
The Library Plus are a key part of Council's front-line service and pride themselves on excellence customer service; our teams handle Library and Council services. We need people who are passionate about customer service and enjoy working with people of all ages and stages. If you have cash handling experience, are flexible and able to multi-task, have computer skills and the ability to work under pressure while still having fun - this may be the role for you!
